Master Plan initiative.
Renovation of the
Old Greenwich Civic Center
The Greenwich
Civic Center Committee is a 19 member volunteer group that plans to :
-
elicit public opinion about needs for a facility
-
develop a plan to respond to needs identified by
the community
-
assist the Town in rebuilding the structure
through fundraising
-
present a business plan for ongoing efficient
and responsive operations
The Old Greenwich
Association has a keen interest in plans for the Center and will provide input
and financial support for this group’s efforts. Interested residents will
be apprised of progress on this project through postings on this website and
will be asked for input to help shape the results in a way that benefits the
entire Greenwich community. Your involvement is key to achieving the level of
quality we all expect and want .

Planning to Manage Building and
Traffic
The Old Greenwich
Association will initiate, monitor and participate in efforts involving the
Planning and Zoning Commission, the Traffic Department, the Board of Selectmen
or other individuals or agencies to develop and implement regulations and/or
other plans designed to maintain or improve the quality of life in our
community. The OGA recognizes that such efforts are critical given the density
of housing development and the increases in traffic we experience daily.
The OGA Board
encourages Old Greenwich citizens to identify possible problems and solutions in
these areas. To achieve this it is essential that the OGA Board receive input
and assistance from interested community members. This website provides one
vehicle that we hope is a convenient way to gain your involvement and to
effectively address these issues. |
